Fishing report for the big 3:
Henry’s Fork (Box) – 720 CFS Henry’s Fork (below Ashton) – 2400 CFS
The fishing has been good, …lots of boat traffic. Fishing dry dropper has been productive with very few big bug eats. There are still Caddis, March Browns and Baetis coming off. Nymphing has been productive. Salmon Fly nymphs are moving toward the bank but the emergence has been stalled with the weather.
South Fork (Irwin) – 11k CFS South Fork (Lorenzo) – 7500 CFS
The fishing has been very good sub-surface. Nymph rigs with a stonefly attractor and small tactical nymphs has been the ticket. There are decent Baetis hatches throughout the canyon with fish rising to them in pods. Great time to fish the South Fork while the flows are low.
Teton (Valley) – 431 CFS.
The fishing has been spotty because the water is still cold. Caddis, March Browns, and Baetis are all coming off, but the clarity has made it slightly difficult. Have fun fishing and catch a big one.
