Look for pods of rising fish taking mahogany duns and small caddis, or midges. An exciting way to fish these is to skate a size 14 renegade across and in front of the fish, sometimes you will see the wake coming before the fish. It's a good time. If you don't see surface activity then use streamers. The browns will be beefing up for the spawn and winter so they will be looking for some big meals. A good pattern is a dumbbell eye black wooly bugger. Stop in the shop we have them and a good selection of other effective streamers.
