Boise River Fly Fishing Report – 6/30/23

Boise River – In Town Fishing Report

Flows are finally shaping up, they are currently at 1,320 cfs. We still do not recommend walk and wading. Streamer fishing has been producing a little bit, but not much. We should see another drop soon, when it gets to below 1,000 cfs that should be a great time to do some walk and wading using attractor style nymphs in size #14 and #16. Streamers in single or articulated patterns in olive, black and brown.

South Fork of the Boise River Fishing Report

Flows are currently 1,620 cfs. Hitting the banks with terrestrials (ants/beetles), stoneflies (salmonflies/golden stones), and caddis should do the trick.
