Warmer weather has come to East Idaho sooner than we would like. As a result we have some high water conditions to talk about. The good news is we have cooler weather forecast for this weekend and there’re still plenty of options.

March has come in like a loin for sure! Snow pack in Island Park has steadily increased through February into March. Currently we are at 115 percent of average snow pack.I have even heard whispers that we may see the fabled gray drakes this year.

Early spring fishing is heating up! We are enjoying a warm spell in eastern Idaho but looking at the long term forecast I don’t think winter is quite done with us. I am ok with that we need more snow and a cool wet spring. The fishing this past week has been amazing!
