Henry’s Fork:
The current flows out of Island Park are 643 cfs. The upper HF in the Box Canyon area has been tough fishing, nymphing is going to produce the best using rubber legs and zebra midge patterns.
In the Railroad Ranch there are pmd’s still going. The Warm River-Ashton section is fishing pretty good. We are seeing caddis and yellow sallies. Using a dry-dropper rig should produce. A large chubby chernobyl pattern in gold or peach color will work for up top and then below you can try using an olive bullet #14, yellow sally nymphs, or olive hot spot #14.
Flows out of the Ashton reservoir are 1,770 cfs. The lower Henry’s Fork is fishing well. We are still seeing pmd’s and goldenstones. The drakes are pretty much done from Ora-Chester. PMD’s and spinners have been the best in the mornings. In the afternoon pheasant tails, bullets, split case pmd’s have been working. We are seeing drakes Chester to Fun Farm.
Feel free to stop by our Ashton Fly Shop for a daily report, 1051 Hwy 20 Ashton, ID 83420 208.652.3008, open 7 days a week 8 am – 5 pm.

South Fork:
Flows are currently at 10,300 cfs. The South Fork is on! On the lower South Fork we have seen some salmonflies. A dry-dropper rig should produce well with a salmonfly on top and a purple quill, duracell, pheasant tail, or rubber leg below. In the canyon they are eating the rubber leg pretty well, again using a dry-dropper set up with a salmonfly up top and a rubber leg below should do the trick.

Teton River:
It is getting close but it is not quite there yet. If you are headed to the Basin, nymphing will be the most productive with baetis nymphs and worms.
