Upper and Lower rivers fishing good

The guides are going mostly lower river below the ashton dam so i am thinking that is the hot place use a golden stone dry and drop off some caddis larva nymphs as well as some bead head pheasent tails and princes and hares ears. Some pmd action has been reported yesterday so try using that as well...

henrys lake is slow right now

I am getting on my soap box today, the ice fishing is killing henrys lake fishing there are almost no more hogs in the lake so all bill is catching is like 3.5 lb fish or smaller we have to stop ice fishing the lake it is not good for the fisherman. Salmon Flies are hitting now

The Salmon hatch is going strong now when the sun is out so use a size 4,6 foam body salmon and drop off either a stonefly nymph or some small beadheads from it. The water levels are staying about right upper and lower we are seeing some goldens also so it might pay to put on a golden stone as well...

Big bugs are all over the place

The big salmon flies are all over the warm to ashton stretch now. Use a large size 2-4 foam body salmon fly as a indicator and drop off some small beadheads like a pheasent tail with flash prince, hares ear, copper john, lightning bug or a caddis nymph in about a size 16.

Our runoff this year has been gradule so far- that is great for fishing! The only section that is blown out now is the Chester to Fun Farm section, I would not fish it now.
